Membership is Just Good Business!

Soroptimist International of Elko is a group dedicated to the betterment of women and children. The organization simply would not exist without the concerted and combined efforts of thousands of professional women around the world. Members are its most precious commodity. The purpose of a being a Soroptimist member is to devote a portion of her time in service to the community to develop as a leader and to promote causes that effect women and children worldwide. This is not to be confused with the reason a member joins, which can be anything from wanting to list it on a resume to running for Congress. The reasons our members join must be acknowledged.
